Auto-Scheduler

The Auto-Scheduler runs continuously to maintain your posting schedule.

How It Works

  1. Content Generation: Automatically generates posts based on your topics
  2. Smart Timing: Posts at optimal times based on your settings
  3. Rate Limit Management: Respects Twitter's limits (17 posts/24hrs for free tier)
  4. Topic Rotation: Cycles through your selected topics

Setting Up Auto-Scheduler

  1. Go to Dashboard
  2. Toggle "Auto-Scheduler" ON
  3. Configure:
    • Posting frequency (posts per day)
    • Active hours (when to post)
    • Topics to use
    • AI model preferences

Scheduling Patterns

Choose from preset patterns or create custom ones:

  • Business Hours: 9 AM - 5 PM weekdays
  • Peak Engagement: Morning (7-9 AM) and Evening (5-7 PM)
  • Round the Clock: Even distribution throughout the day
  • Weekend Focus: Increased activity on weekends

Thread Scheduling

Schedule multi-post threads with proper spacing:

Creating a Thread

  1. Click "Create Thread"
  2. Add multiple posts (2-25 posts)
  3. Set thread spacing:
    • Immediate: All at once
    • Spaced: Custom interval between posts
  4. Schedule the first post
  5. Subsequent posts follow automatically

Thread Best Practices

  • Keep threads under 10 posts for better engagement
  • Use 1-2 minute intervals between posts
  • Number your posts (1/n format)
  • Maintain context throughout

  • Weekends: 10-11 AM, 1-2 PM
  • Avoid: Late nights (11 PM - 5 AM)

Frequency Guidelines

  • Minimum: 1-2 posts per day
  • Optimal: 3-5 posts per day
  • Maximum: 10-15 posts per day (with paid Twitter API)

Content Mix

Balance your scheduled content:

  • 30% - Promotional/product updates
  • 40% - Educational/helpful content
  • 20% - Engagement (questions, polls)
  • 10% - Personal/behind-the-scenes

Troubleshooting

Posts Not Publishing

Check:

  1. Twitter account still connected
  2. API credentials valid
  3. Rate limits not exceeded
  4. Scheduler service running

Timing Issues

  • Verify time zone settings
  • Check for daylight saving time
  • Ensure server time is synchronized

Failed Posts

MyPosts automatically retries failed posts:

  • 3 retry attempts
  • Exponential backoff
  • Email notification on final failure
